Features of a Riddle:

Example Riddles:
- “The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?” Answer: Footsteps. The more you walk (take steps), the more footprints you leave behind.
- “I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?” Answer: An echo. It “speaks” back the sound, “hears” the original sound, but itself has no physical form.
- “What has keys but can’t open locks?” Answer: A piano. It has keys to produce music, but it cannot open locks like a regular key.
- “The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?” Answer: A mirror. As you take a look at yourself, you “leave behind” your reflection.
- “I am taken from a mine and shut up in a wooden case, from which I am never released, and yet I am used by almost every person. What am I?” Answer: A pencil. It is made from graphite, which comes from mines, and it is enclosed in a wooden casing. Despite being sharpened, it remains within the casing.
